UNWIND @ DUXTON
Unwind @ Duxton is a project located in Singapore's Duxton Plain Park. The vision I had while designing was to create a space promoting interaction between people of different interests through a design which infuses a variety of activities. The inspiration I got for this design was from the nearby building called the Pinnacle @ Duxton and I then proceeded to explore more with the form to make the park look more interesting and feel more connected.

There are 3 main programmes happening in the park which are targeted to users such as cyclists, users who visit the neighboring Yogashala building and even residents staying at the Pinnacle @ Duxton. The 3 programmes are separated into the 3 different levels in the park. The first level gives a spacious area for users to cycle and also provides for the needs of cyclists passing by the park with a mini food and beverage shop and a bicycle repair shop. The 2nd level is an urban cafe that allows users to gather and dine after work. Lastly, the 3rd level is designed such that it links with the neighboring Yogashala building and it is able to act as a wider and exposed platform for users to perform their recreation with the view of the park. It can also be an open rooftop garden for users to unwind on with their friends and family.
